Winter Koi (Print/Original)
This is a vibrant and dynamic depictions of a powerful koi fish diving into the depths of the water.
Despite a koi fish strength they are known to dive to the mud and silt at the bottom of ponds and streams in winter, seeking the protection of warmer water away from the surface. This painting tells a story that reminds the viewer that sometimes even the string need safety.
The original painting was painted with Japanese sumi ink and fluid acrylic on watercolour paper, and is framed in a beautiful dark wood antique picture frame with new dark green archival mounts and high quality UV blocking perspex. The framed original measures 79 x 47.5cm.
The prints are also presented in a soft white archival mount measuring 45 x 25cm, and are ready to frame.
