My seasonal rabbit paintings explore the narrative associations and themes relating to each of the seasons.
The spring rabbit is paired with apple blossoms and was inspired by my experiences in spring seeing the new life that explodes at the start of the year. It is a celebration of colour and abundance.
The painting was created with Japanese sumi ink and fluid acrylics on watercolour paper and has a beautiful texture, depth and movement. It is framed in a vintage dark wooden frame and measures 54 x 40cm.
