Cherry Blossoms in the Wind (Original)

This painting features cherry blossoms caught in swirling clouds. The blossoms are delicate with lively colours. CHerry blossoms are a regular feature of my work and hold a certain fascination. In Japan they are celebrated and represent the beauty and briefness of life.

This painting was made with Japanese sumi ink and fluid acrylics. It is presented in a unique vintage octagonal frame with marbled papers. It is truly one of a kind.

The piece measures 8.5" or 21.5cm across.
