My seasonal rabbit paintings explore the narrative associations and themes relating to each of the seasons.
The summer rabbit is paired with vibrant yellow roses. It was inspired by the beautiful blooms that bring colour during the summer heat. Roses are often associated with beauty and delicacy, creating a narrative that celebrates the joy of summer.
The painting was created with Japanese sumi ink and fluid acrylics on watercolour paper and has a beautiful texture, depth and movement. It is framed in a vintage dark wooden frame and measures 54 x 40cm.
