Change (Autumn Rabbit) (Original)

My seasonal rabbit paintings explore the narrative associations and themes relating to each of the seasons.

The autumn rabbit is paired with hawthorn and is inspired by the changing colours of countryside hedgerows that I see whilst walking my dog every autumn. The variety of autumn leaves is a reminder of the change that comes with autumn. Combined with hawthorn berries this piece creates a narrative that explores the idea that change can be profitable, creating opportunity.

The painting was created with Japanese sumi ink and fluid acrylics on watercolour paper and has a beautiful texture, depth and movement. It is framed in a vintage dark wooden frame and measures 54 x 40cm.
