Shake your Maracas (Original)

Part of my "Series of Unexpected Frogs", this is an original painting featuring a characterful frog who is dancing with a handful of leaves like maracas. The frog has an excited expression and is full of personality. The painting is framed in an antique ebonised frame.

The series is inspired by a Kawanabe Kyosai print. I was attracted to the originals because of the fun it represents. There is no deep meaning or understanding required. These are images designed simply to be enjoyed.

This piece is vibrant and eye catching, and is perfect to add an extra bit of personality to a room or workspace, even if you only have a little space.

Made with fluid acrylics on watercolour paper. It measures 11.2 x 12.2cm.
